🌈 I’m not going to sugar coat it... travelling with kids isn’t always a highlight reel... but it’s tough with them at home too sometimes right?
Its day 5 on our Intrepid Travel family tour of Vietnam (Ad) and today was a free day so we spent some time exploring Hoi An ancient town and living up the massage life.
The heat has probably been the hardest, but it hasn’t changed the epic time we’ve had here in Hoi An.. you just have to be a little strategic..
🔥Tips for beating the heat
- Explore in the early morning and late evenings, swim and rest in the middle of the day if possible
- Aim for an hour exploring, then a break in an air conditioned coffee shop for ice cold smoothies (rinse and repeat)
- Bring a portable fan
- Choose a few indoor air conditioned activities such as a massage, cooking class or lantern making to break up the time in the heat.
Would I change any of it? Not on your life...

Just because something is scary that doesn’t mean we can’t do it… just break down the scary factors and find a logical way through it
