My office for the day! The face painting station has been non-stop — so many happy (and very colourful) faces 😄🎨
Super hot out here, but the vibes are worth it!

And to top it off… Spider-Man swung by for a visit 🕷️🕸️ Absolute highlight for the kids!

Had such a special (and very busy!) day face painting at the Horotiu Gala on Sunday 🎨✨

It’s been 12 years since my children went to Horotiu, so being able to come back and give my time meant so much 💖

Seeing all the smiles on the kids’ faces was truly special — such a full-circle moment.

It’s been a very busy weekend — Saturday at the Tauranga Races with long lines of children outside my tent waiting to have their faces painted, which was amazing to see. Lots of smiles, colour, and plenty of green celebrations for Saint Patrick’s Day too! 🍀

Then today I was at a private birthday party face painting for two very lovely children. Such a fun way to finish the weekend! 🎨

2 Jan – New World Summer Festival 2026 ☀️🎨

Such a busy and fun day face painting, with so many happy kids running around with painted faces and big smiles!

A huge thank you to Elizabeth from Little Amigo Face Painting — she’s not only an amazing face painter, but also such a kind and wonderful person to work alongside. It was so much fun sharing the day with her!

🎨✨ What a day!
Here’s my setup from yesterday at the Tauranga Races! It was non-stop busy and so much fun — I painted over 70 faces in just 3 hours and didn’t even get a chance to take photos of the finished faces 😅

This time I added a new “Fast Faces” sign with 8 quick design options, and it worked perfectly for such a busy event! 💨

A huge thank you to Tauranga Races for inviting me and to everyone who stopped by — so many smiles, laughter, and colourful faces! 💖🐴🌈

Had such a fun (and busy!) weekend at the NZ Ethnic Football Festival, painting faces for free! 🎨⚽️ I was way too busy to watch any games, but hearing all the excitement made it feel amazing. Huge thanks to everyone who waited patiently in line — you all made it so worth it! Can’t wait to do it again next year with Jo Jo’s Face Painting!
