Although we love nail polish as much as the next person, wearing it for long periods of time can be drying and cause damage to the nail plate.
A great excuse to remove the polish and pick new colours regularly though! π

We love nail polish, but they are not all created equal π
Some nail polish will stain and dry your nail plate if left on for long periods. We generally recommend only leaving polish on your nails for short periods of time, for example 1-2 weeks, in order to keep your nails looking and feeling their best! β¨
Part of the reason why we recommend Kester Black nail polish is because they are more gentle on the nail plate, as well as being water and oxygen permeable. That means you don't need to use nasty acetone to remove it either!

If you are on the hunt for the perfect sandal for your summer adventures, we can help with that!
Things which we think you should consider include:
π Cushioning - making sure there is some padding underfoot to help keep you comfortable
π Arch support - if the sole of the sandal is shaped to fit your feet (rather than being flat) it will help prevent that tired feeling in your feet
π Adjustable straps - no two feet are the same. Having straps which you can adjust to ensure good fit will help in preventing blisters
π Raised heel - having sandals which are slightly raised at the heel will help take stress of the Achilles and can help to prevent heel pain.
Happy sandal season shopping! π‘π

We're all about normalising bodily functions and today we're talking about sweat π¦
The sweat glands on our feet are primarily for thermoregulation (adjusting body temperature) π‘
You may have heard of people having botox to 'turn off' their sweat glands in a specific area, however the amount of sweat a body creates will be the same overall - so if you sweat less from one area, you will sweat more from another.
Things that can help facilitate cooling of the body will help preventing excessive sweating, such as wearing light, loose clothing, sandals or open shoes and staying in shady spots during the heat of the day.
Most of all, relax and remind yourself that your body is doing exactly what it's meant to be doing π₯°
