Growing up with Chiky and Aki

Hello po! Story time.

Last January, I got really, really sick. The doctor call it Pneumonia. My chest hurt, I coughed a lot, and I felt super hot. Mommy said I had a very high fever. My body was so tired and heavy, I didn’t even want my favorite milk.

The doctor said my platelets were very low. They even suspected I might have dengue. I don’t know what that means, but Mommy and Daddy looked really scared. I was breathing so hard—like my chest was running even when I wasn’t moving.

All I wanted was to sleep and be hugged. I didn’t want to play. I just wanted to feel okay again.

Then this August, we went to a place they called emergency room. The doctor said I have hyperactive airway disease. I still don’t understand, but Mommy said my lungs get tired easily and I need clean air to help me breathe better.

So please po... if you smoke, don’t come near me. Also, our awesome garbage collectors are doing their job, no need to burn trash.

My lungs are still tiny. I want to grow up strong and play outside without coughing. 🙏🧿

I promise I’ll grow up healthy if you help me breathe clean air. Thank you po. 💗
