This is such an exciting piece to begin with! Gustong-gusto ko ang dulang ito na isinulat ni Luisito Nario. Napanood ko ito noong 2011 yata, at sobrang na-in love ako sa mga characters. That time, isa itong one-act straight play na punong-puno ng lalim at emosyon.

And this year, kasama ang aking pinagkakatiwalaang mga masisining na nilalang, we decided to turn it into a musical. Bilang isang director na sanay sa straight plays at never pang nag-try mag-direct ng musical, this piece gives me so much space to explore, experiment, and wonder.

This adaptation is a challenge pero at the same time, it’s an opportunity to discover how music amplifies emotions and how melodies bring life even to moments of silence. Nakaka-pressure, pero sobrang inspiring at fulfilling.

Excited akong ibahagi ang journey na ito sa inyong lahat! Pero tatapusin muna namin ang mga music beh. Abangan nyo to! Haha. 🤣
