Hermes Un Jardin Sur La Lagune EDT

You’ve probably seen this bottle on social media as the “Jinkee Pacquiao scent”, because she constantly raves about it in her vlogs. The Un Jardin line was so enticing as they all come in ombre bottles which give off a subtle classy feel, and I wanted to get all of them. Furthermore, I was particularly hesitant to get this at first because it might give off a ‘mature’ vibe, but boy, I was wrong.

I’ve also heard reviews from people that the scale from Fragrantica (see other photo) does not accurately describe how it smells, which is the other reason why it took me a long time to get it. Using this scent for a week has made me agree with those reviews.

The top notes described are white floral and marine, but the combination has blended into this fresh, powdery scent that is not overpowering at all. Sometimes, most powdery scents smell so generic and cheap, but the luxe in this is evident with every sniff. It’s so subtle, but people will still get a whiff of it from your every move. I do get the marine scent most times, but it’s how such note blends with the others that makes it so nice for everyday.

The only downside is that it is a little to pricey for an EDT. It retails for ₱ 8,800 for a 100-mL bottle, but I guess you also get to display an Hermes bottle on your vanity table 😉
