But we can't deny that her ultimate sacrifice to save Encantadia and returned as an ivtre to kill all the Hadezar was very revolutionary and refreshing for the franchise. 🤍✨

FAN THEORY: Cassiopea is no longer a Bathaluman! 🔮💔😢

We all know that Bathalang Emre rarely interferes with the current state of affairs in Encantadia. His non-interference, granting all creatures freedom and responsibility. Others suggest that intervention could undermine the purpose of free will.

In the first season, he revealed his rationale for why he never killed Ether and the other villains, and that is because they give troubles and trials to his creations. Those problems and trials are a way for him to test the faith of the Encantados, and difficulties in life can lead them to greater dependence on him. Besides, trials can reveal one's soul weaknesses and offer opportunities for growth, resilience, and spiritual development.

In theory, Emre prohibited Cassiopea from meddling with the Encantados since she's already a Bathaluman. However, now that her twin sister is the new enemy, that's why she felt she needed to intervene.

She was given an ultimatum that if she gets involved, she will be stripped of her divine status. Cassiopea is notorious for disobeying Emre's orders; this was proven when she used the power of the Mother Gem to destroy Adhara's invasion force and divide it into five separate parts. As punishment for perverting the Mother Gem, Emre cursed her with immortal life to make her witness the repercussions of her action.

Ultimately, she defied Emre once again. Because she realized that she cannot totally protect the Encantados even though she's already a Bathaluman. It's also possible that she voluntarily exited from Devas and resigned from her higher position.

Being reverted to her diwata state was the reason why she's living in the forest again and overpowered by her strong twin sister. We have already seen that she was put to sleep by one of Mitena's minions, the Encantada in a white feathery outfit (possibly the humanoid form of the Ice Queen's pet owl), and confined her inside the ice cave along with the other Sang'gres she imprisoned (based on behind the scenes). Hence, she was unable to help all the Encantados anymore.

In the concept art post by Sir Noel Flores about Cassiopea recently, we will notice in the caption that he's asking if she has indeed become a real goddess. The renowned visual artist occasionally gives a clue/hint in his several Encantadia posts. The fact that we almost never see her Bathaluman headdress in the teasers or behind the scenes further suggests that she's really no longer a Goddess when Mitena conquers the realm.
