📣 HONESTY IS STILL OUR GREATEST TREASURE!

Yesterday, two young boys from our community showed us what true integrity looks like – Kian Cuarteros and Justine Ladres found a lost wallet belonging to Ms. Jasmine P. Magpatoc and immediately brought it to the Malimono Municipal Police Station to ensure it would be returned to its rightful owner.

Our Police Chief PLT Demetrio P. Galanida Jr. coordinated with Ms. Magpatoc, and successfully returned all its contents to her. Both the police chief and Ms. Magpatoc commended the boys for their remarkable sense of responsibility and honesty.

Yesterday, I called the presence of Kian and Justine to come to my office today so I could personally thank them and recognize their wonderful act. To reward their integrity, our local government is giving each of them ₱2,500 in cash and 10 kilos of rice.

Their selfless act at such a young age fills our hearts with pride and reminds us that the future of Malimono is in wonderful hands. We hope Kian and Justine’s story inspires all our youth to always choose what is right, even when no one is watching. Let us all celebrate these young heroes and continue building a community rooted in trust and good values!
