Hi! Kumusta po kayo? Gusto ko lang pong ishare ang kabutihan ng Diyos sa buhay namin..

I AM Cath Pegad, 28 years old, OFW from Rome Italy, a mom of 3, full time mom and housewife.

Our Story:
Thank you Lord for our !!! :) Knowing that there's already a life growing inside my belly & how AMAZING PURE ORGANIC BARLEY helped in our journey to my pregnancy. 😊

Rex and I got married in 2006. Of course as a couple on our first year we were expected to have a baby but there's no gift from our Creator. We've been asking ourselves what was wrong with us but still we kept on praying & asking our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to grant us a baby.

Then came our 3rd year Anniversary, we decided to do our 1st fertility workup. I went to my OB Gyne and he went to his Urologist in VRPMMC also Known as POLYMEDIC Hospital. We were told I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) on my left o***y. Our world changed. We were in and out of the hospital. We have gone through different lab tests but nothing happened. We also went home to to see the traditional "hilot" as older people always told us to have a massage dahil mababa daw ang matres ko (My womb is low). :)

Then on to our 4th, 5th, 6th year we decided to go to St. Luke's Medical Center (SLMC) in to undergo Infertility workups again. We were back in the hospital world. We had a box was full of medicines with all sorts of sizes, shapes and colors: Metformin, Clomid, Femara, Duphaston, Purifol, Folart, Ovulation kits and not to miss the other injections at the hospital.

and other laboratory tests again for Hystero Salphingogram to find out if my fallopian tubes were blocked. The left one was blocked but the right side was ok. We had high hopes then! :) :) :)

We were getting ready for what they call Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) which is an infertility treatment that involves placing the s***m inside a woman's uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of s***ms that reach the fallopian tubes and subsequently increase the chance of fertilization. We went to at St. Lukes Hospital in Global City. Two IUIs were unsuccesful.

We took our third IUI but the pregnancy tests were still negative. 😭

Here comes one of the side effects- OOHS ovarian hyper stimulation! We were on a vacation in the province. I was getting stomach cramps and my left side was so painful that I had to be confined at the Hospital. We went back to Manila, we found out from the Trans Vaginal Ultrasound ( ) that I have a Cyst in my left o***y!!! Two options were given: Take pills so it won't grow but never concieve or continue with the workup and have the possibility of getting pregnant. We chose the latter.

A few months after, the pain was then overwhelming that I had to undergo surgery. The cyst was removed last July 2014 via Video Surgery. The OB Gyne prescribed Pills for a few months so I won't get my monthly period after the operation.

The Doctors then said that we will have a better chance of getting pregnant in a few months after the surgery.

The OB Gyne's last suggestion - . At this time, we've already spent hundreds of thousands of Php!!! We were told even before we started that a fertility workup will be very costly. All of our savings and salary always went towards the hospital expenses and costly medicines. Where will we get the Php 1Million???

We were very disappointed... friends & family were suggesting that we adopt a baby so that I can get pregnant. You can comment below if this worked for you. 😄

We rested a bit. Stopped with the meds and hospitals.

Rex even composed an answer to those people who asked us as to why we've been married for quite sometime but how come we still don't have a baby.

There were other questions like:
