Muzaffarabad: A high-level meeting regarding local body elections was held under the chairmanship of Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan.
The Prime Minister directed to conduct the local body elections in Azad Kashmir before November 30
The Election Commission wrote a letter to the government regarding the release of the schedule in the second week of November
In the meeting, a detailed discussion was made with reference to all the requirements of the election
The government will fix the date for the final schedule to the Election Commission in the next few days
In the meeting, Government Ministers Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Dewan Ali Chaghtai, Advisor to the Government Akbar Ibrahim, Chief Secretary Usman Chachar, Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Ehsan Khalid Kayani and others participated.
