The Paish Qadam Circle Award Show 2025 was held today at DNA, where talented creators were honored with awards in various categories. I’m truly delighted and grateful to have received an award as well. A heartfelt thank you to the PQC management team for organizing such a wonderful and well-executed event. It was an inspiring experience and a moment of pride!

Lighting Dreams, Brightening Futures – Roshni Baji
In 2022, a remarkable journey began — the Roshni Baji Program.
A story of 200 incredible women who became beacons of light in their communities, transforming not just their own futures, but that of thousands around them.
These women received comprehensive training in electrical safety, energy conservation, safe electricity usage, and emergency response — empowering them with skills traditionally considered off-limits for women.
Today, they have reached over 860,000 households, becoming Pakistan’s first certified female electricians — paving the way for real economic empowerment.
What started as a program is now a movement.
44 Roshni Bajis are now proudly part of Karachi Electric — serving as DPOs, CCRs, MDMOs, Apprentices, and Business Coordinators.
And recently, we celebrated their incredible journey with an award ceremony, where each Baji shared her story, her struggles, and her success. Selected participants were honored for their outstanding contributions, with KE's IBC GMs also in attendance. The event concluded with heartfelt group photos — capturing not just faces, but a revolution in progress.
This program has gained international recognition — honored by the S&P Global Energy Awards (known as the “Oscars of the Energy Sector”), and showcased as a best practice model for Women in STEM on global platforms.
This is more than a program.
This is the blueprint of change.
This is — Roshni Baji.

1. Turn off lights and fans when not in use.

The KHI Awards 2025 is a unique initiative that recognizes individuals and organizations making a positive impact in society.
This initiative not only contributes significantly to society but also connects us with the stories of people who are truly making a difference.
The KHI Awards have empowered 108 organizations over the past three years, positively impacting over 17.8 million lives.
This initiative inspires us to work towards making a positive difference in our communities.

Had an incredible evening at Mövenpick Hotel Karachi with the inspiring leadership of KE, celebrating the remarkable journey of KHI Awards 4.0.
Since 2021, the KHI Awards have been a beacon of recognition and support for individuals and organizations committed to uplifting communities. Over the past three years, this platform has empowered 108 organizations, creating a positive impact on more than 17.8 million lives.
