The Rheumatology Department at Akhtar Mubarak Referral Centre Lahore is led by Dr. Nighat Mir.

Dr. Nighat Mir is running Rheumatology department Akhtar Mubarak referal centre.

Dr Nighat Mir is head of Rheumatology in Akhtar Mubarak referal centre and president of Association of Fatima Jinnah old Graduates.
Her Arthritis Care Foundation (ACF) participated in the “Eid Milan & Spring Festival” organized by the Army Housing Directorate (ACM) Lahore and FESTECO Events. The purpose of participation was to raise awareness among the general public about rheumatic diseases and highlight ACF’s contributions to community health.

Consultant rheumatologists and physiotherapists were available to provide guidance. In addition, ACF offered FREE Vitamin D screening, sponsored by Cell Laboratories. The screening attracted significant interest, particularly among young and elderly women. A total of 48 screenings were conducted during the event.

ACF remains committed to continuing its support and awareness activities related to rheumatic diseases.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Huma on her esteemed recognition in the medical field beyond ophthalmology, thereby bringing distinction to Fatima Jinnah Medical University.

I am deeply honored to assume the presidency of AFJOG, and I thank you all for your trust and confidence in me.

I pay heartfelt tribute to our founders, whose vision laid the foundation of this noble organization.

I extend my sincere appreciation to all past Presidents for their leadership and dedication that continue to guide us forward.

I am especially grateful to our outgoing President and her team for their remarkable service and contributions to fulfill AFJOG goals the most remarkable of them being opening of UK chapter of AFJOG and so many others.
As I step into this role with my team our vision is to strengthen AFJOG as a leading force in patient care, training, awareness, elderly support, and research.In sha Allah 🙏🏻

I believe that together, through collaboration and commitment, we can expand our impact and reach those most in need.

Healthcare is not a privilege but a right, and we must strive to make it accessible, compassionate, and equitable.
My request 🙏🏻to each one of you is to volunteer your time to AFJOG at least twice month if not weekly. Sacrifice that one day of practice to serve the ailing humanity. Time is the most valuable and precious sacrifice you can give to those who have a right to exist in dignity 💕🌸
My appeal🙏🏻 is for the young blood to join AFJOG and give back your Alma Mater.

I look forward to working with all of you to build a stronger, more inclusive future for our patients and our profession.
