A distinguished OBGYN and fertility specialist, Dr. Shaheen played a vital role in the first IVF birth in Sindh, Pakistan, and continues to advance women’s health as the Medical Director of the Sindh Institute of Reproductive Medicine (SIRM). Her lifelong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and patient-centered care remains an inspiration to the entire fertility community.

Leading gynecologists and fertility specialists from Islamabad hosted a welcome dinner in honor of Dr Syed Sajjad Husain, the newly elected President of the IVF Society of Pakistan.

The gathering reflected a shared commitment to advancing fertility care, strengthening professional collaboration, and driving innovation in reproductive medicine across the country.

The IVF Society of Pakistan proudly introduces Dr. Haroon Latif Khan, our General Secretary, President of Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction, and CEO of LIFE.

A distinguished clinical embryologist and reproductive medicine specialist, Dr. Haroon has been at the forefront of advancing assisted reproductive technologies (ART) in Pakistan. His leadership continues to inspire innovation, ethical practice, and excellence in fertility care.

The Executive Committee of the IVF Society of Pakistan had an insightful dinner meeting with Dr. Mushtaq Salariya, Director Clinical Governance (Punjab Healthcare Commission), at Avari Hotel, Lahore.

Under the theme “Bridging the Gaps", discussions centered on the unique needs of IVF centers, regulatory alignment, and ways to enhance patient-centered fertility care in Pakistan.

Led by Dr Syed Sajjad Husain and Dr. Haroon Latif Khan, along with Dr. Saqib Siddiq and Mr. Mahmood ul Hassan, the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between IVF professionals and the regulatory authorities of Pakistan.

The IVF Society of Pakistan proudly introduces Prof. Dr. Saqib Siddiq, our Vice President (North) and CEO of Mid City Hospital and Saqib Fertility & IVF Center.

Dr. Saqib has been a pioneer in bringing IVF and ICSI technology to Pakistan, playing a transformative role in advancing infertility treatment and mentoring the next generation of fertility specialists.
