On 28th of August, HHRD YEC UOB successfully conducted it's monthly mentoring session on Psychological First Aid (PFA). The session was facilitated by Sir Umair, a Clinical Psychologist currently serving with the World Health Organization (WHO).

During the session, Sir Umair highlighted the importance of early psychological support, how to respond to individuals in crisis, and techniques to provide immediate care in stressful situations. Different interactive activities were conducted with the students and cabinet members, which made the session more engaging and practical.

In the midst of the session, HHRD Focal Person Mr. Ahmed Bilal along with Sir Imran from the HHRD Monitoring Team joined us. Their presence added great value to the session and motivated the participants.

After the completion of the session, the cabinet members of HHRD YEC UOB had a small meetup and discussion with Sir Imran and Sir Bilal. During this meetup, future activities, monitoring aspects, and the role of youth engagement in community development were briefly discussed.

Report: HHRD-YEC University of Balochistan Monthly Cabinet Meeting

Today, we held a warm and fruitful cabinet meeting. The session began with friendly discussions where everyone shared thoughtful ideas, especially about the upcoming mentoring session. We also finalized important plans for youth activities, who will do what, when, and how things will move forward.

The energy in the room was full of motivation, and every member's input really made a difference.

In the end, we all enjoyed some light refreshments together, which gave us a lovely chance to relax, talk, and grow stronger as a team.

Glimpses from the Women Empowerment Session organized by HHRD_YEC_UOB on 30th June 2025, at the Gender Studies Department, University of Balochistan. The session focused on raising awareness about women's rights, promoting gender equality, and encouraging youth participation in social development. With active attendance from students and faculty, inspiring words from mentors, and excellent coordination by the cabinet team, the event was a meaningful step toward empowering young minds for a better and balanced society.

The Youth Empowerment Club(YEC) held its monthly meeting for May 2025, with cabinet members in attendance. The session begin with a soulful recitation By General Secretary YEC, followed by President Mr. Khan Khuda-e-Dad for upcoming activities. Members engaged in a productive discussion on team performance and upcoming welfare activities and initiatives. A session full of appreciation, insight and future planning!

A health awareness seminar was successfully conducted under the auspices of the Cabinet of the University of Balochistan (YEP-UoB). All officials from the Health Awareness and Nutrition Program (HANP) actively participated in the event.
The seminar took place at the University of Balochistan, where medical professionals from the HANP delivered a comprehensive awareness session to attendees. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with a large number of students in attendance.
