In a remarkable milestone for cardiac intervention in interior Sindh, SICVD Sukkur successfully conducted a PTMC (Percutaneous Transvenous Mitral Commissurotomy) Workshop, treating 12 high-risk patients with severe Risk Rheumatic Mitral Stenosis – all procedures completed successfully by the skilled faculty of SICVD.
This life-saving initiative was held under the proctorship of Dr. Bashir Ahmed Solangi, Associate Professor of NICVD Karachi, whose expertise and guidance ensured precision and excellence throughout the workshop.
After repetitions of these workshops at SICVD Sukkur, now this center is certified to perform PTMC and other latest interventions.
