How do you find the sweet spot when you’re raising kids, a small business, and trying to be a content creator (which you did not actually sign up for? 😅). The biggest challenge is showing up for everyone and everything, while making sure that you’re also “seen” on social media. Experts often say, “consistency is the key” for entrepreneurs like me — rain or shine, just keep putting yourself out there. I’ve been away from this platform for quite some time. Now, it feels like I’m back to square one figuring out the algorithms and whatnots. In this digital age, numbers are the name of the game — more views, likes, followers, enquiries, and sales. But as the years passed, I realised that my definition of “success” has also changed. It’s no longer about doing more, but doing what I can with more purpose and intention. It’s not about quantity, but quality. Less noise, less hustle, more depth and meaning. It’s focusing on what truly matters. I have learned to set boundaries and not use the “hustle culture” as an excuse to spread myself thin, be sleep deprived, constantly feel like I am not in the best of health. At the end of the day, it’s not just about consistency, but more so, sustainability. It’s showing up (even when no one’s watching) because this is where I choose to be. It’s taking a step back when needed, giving myself space to grow and learn, and going back to the reasons why I started this — art is my therapy and I love to create. If you’re likewise in the process of building something, do not be afraid to step back when you feel the need to. Refocus, recharge, go back to your why’s, and come back STRONGER (because you know in your heart that you’re in this for the long haul).
