So abt all this debate regarding ITEs etc etc. I am not siding with anybody. This is my own pov. I believed that everyone has own pov and if they want to share it, share it respectfully.
No need to be rude and disrespectful.

Knowledge is not equivalent to paper qualifications. Learning a recipe is also gaining knowledge. Learning to sew is also unique eventhough no thesis is involved.

To learn something, be it baking or getting a PhD, we need lots of self motivation and positive attitude with a strong will to improve our ownselves. Whether you are in Secondary Sch, or in ITE or in Poly or in JC or in Uni, everyone need all these just to study.

However, the viral post was about marrying with someone who is of "lower" education. Given the nature of his job, I am sure he has seen hundreds of cases whereby some men does not provide for their family properly.

There are a few things to take note of here. All of us here are mature adults so please read this with an open mind.

Out of 10 ITE graduates or school dropouts, how many of them are able to soar up high if they do not have any will to have a better life? We know ITE is good now and can provide amazing opportunities for upgrading. How many of them took the opportunity?

All of us have heard of stories of people who managed to make something out of themselves despite having no paper qualifications right?
But all of us have also heard of stories where husbands are just sh****ad lazy and expect the wives to pay for everything too, right?????

It is not about ITE or Poly or NUS. It is about each individual.

Next, we can also look at what we meant by a "better" life. Everyone sees "better" differently. In a marriage, this "better" should be aligned.

If the wife wants to travel all the time, but the husband earns $3k per month, then this will definitely cause disagreements. "Why can't you earn more?" "Because you dont have a diploma?"
But what if he cannot even afford to buy diapers or milk? And what if he dont even care to work extra hard to find extra money because he dont even have any intention to change his life?

The thing is, usually all of us know who we are marrying. Afterall, our religion also tell us to do a background check before marrying.

In fact, our religion also says that a man should marry a woman of the same standard as him. I am not sure of the right words etc. But this is the gist of it. If a man decided to marry a woman who is "richer" or "higher" than him, he has to make sure that he is able to give her the same or better support as of her parents.

As a mom of a special needs boy who may not even work properly later and also giving my support to one of my boys who decided not to pursue nursing anymore, this issue makes my mind work overtime haha.

Like i said before, no matter what we decide is good for us, He is the best planner. Someone with ITE cert may be happier than someone who has a NUS degree. But it can also be vice versa. So accept that fact.

Believe in qadha and qadr but never stop IKHTIAR. Do'a, redha, tawakkal won't work without ikthtiar. Wallahualam....

Actually, i never think of this until that lady told me abt her giving away her commission. It made me wake up. It made me think abt what money can do.
Money can do things that we never even think of doing. Who would ever think of buying a building for the orphans?
When there's opportunity to earn more, go for it. Because life is not just about Chanels.

When this copycat blender came out in Malaysia, I was a bit skeptical. How can it be so cheap but was claimed to be as good as Thermomix?
