Taking this rare pause to ask for your wish list š§”
I know there are probably many areas where our website or service may fall short. Not because I donāt care, but because thereās always soap to make, stock to pack, messages to answer, cartons to cut, and approximately 938 other urgent deadlines waiting for attention.
But since I have to pause soap making for a while, this feels like a good time to finally look at the things I donāt usually get enough time to improve.
So tell me:
What would make ordering from us easier?
What soap bars would you want on subscription?
Would a āSurprise Meā option across all collection be fun, or absolutely not because you need control? š¤
Any bundles, website features, restock reminders, gift options, or tiny annoyances youāve quietly tolerated?
Comment or DM me your wish list.
I canāt promise Iāll do them all, but Iām all ears š§”

Learnings for myself, and maybe for you too:
1. Rest is not optional.
2. Listen to the doctor.
3. Stubbornness is not a recovery plan.
4. Walk slowerā¦
On Day 1 of Boutiques, allergic rhinitis hit, I was running on too little peaceful sleep, and in my rush to find my GrabFood driver⦠I tripped over myself and landed flat on the floor.
Scraped knee.
Scratched cheek.
Painful wrist.
I didnāt even plan to see the doctor at first. It was only when my knee became inflamed that I went to the polyclinic, and that was when the doctor advised an X-ray for my wrist. I said no.
I thought the wrist was āprobably fineā because it felt better the next day.
Yes, I know. Very clever. š
After getting scolded by family and friends, I finally went back. I asked the doctor, half smugly, āIs it a hairline crack?ā
She said, āNo, itās a fracture.ā
So now I have a wrist guard, a sling (for naughty people like me) and a very firm reminder that pushing through is not always the badge of honour we think it is.
The strange blessing? I still made it through all 3 days of Boutiques, plus 2 full-day pop-ups the following weekend, without knowing my wrist was fractured.
Not recommending this method. Please be smarter than me.
Good news: my back X-ray is clear, my knee is healing, and Iām still up and well. Soap-wise, weāre okay too because I had already made quite a bit before this little drama.
So if you see me with a sling, wrist guard, or still-bandaged knee, donāt worry. Iām recovering, behaving a little better, and using this as an opportunity to train my left hand because the maximizer in me refuses to let the situation go to waste. š¬
Thank you to everyone who checked in, asked what happened, or lovingly scolded me. Message received. Mostly. š§”

Can a one-woman operation join Boutiques?
Apparently yes, but definitely not alone.
This was my first Boutiques, and honestly, it took me a while to muster the courage to even try applying again. Boutiques has always felt like one of those ābig brandā milestones, and stepping into it as a solopreneur and crafter was equal parts exciting, terrifying, and āwhat have I gotten myself into?ā š
But this weekend reminded me that small brands are not small in effort.
So many of the brands there are also run by solopreneurs, tiny teams, makers, dreamers, problem-solvers, and people quietly doing ten jobs behind one booth. And they showed up beautifully.
For My Naked Bar, this milestone was made possible by the fam, the tribe, and the friends who showed up in every possible way. From lending hands and muscle, to bringing food, drinks, snacks, encouragement, and the tiny practical things that kept us going through the long days. .miriam_
To everyone who came by, brought friends, cheered us on, shared our booth, bought a bar, asked questions, or simply made space for us in your weekend, thank you š§”
This may look like a brand milestone.
But to me, it means a lot more.
It means community showed up.
And Iāll remember that for a very, very long time.

Grateful for ALL of you who took time to come by to support our debut at and for all of you who didnāt know that we were there but came right up to our booth to say hello.
Super touched when each of you shared where you first knew our brand and started your journey with bar soaps⦠some whom I met from so many years ago in your school, work, and you still remember me.
And for the group who came specially to Boutiques just to find me, I have no words. š„¹
There are just SO MANY people I want and need to thankā¦but I need a proper reel to do that and I havenāt got time yet to put that together.
So hereās a quick snapshot first to capture how much of a difference each and every of your visit made for meā¦whether or not itās captured in this reel (thereās a limit to this template so I canāt add more) but itās all in my š§”.
Thank you.
