• Minimum 5 years of barbering experience
• Strong skills in men’s haircuts and grooming
• Professional attitude and attention to detail
• Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Long Term Visit Pass holders only

Kothan joined Gentleman’s Cuts in March 2025 as a Junior Barber. From the very beginning, there was something different about him. He paid attention to the details that many people overlook. The way a haircut sits after a week. How a client’s hair naturally grows. Whether a child felt comfortable in the chair. The small things that separate a haircut from a grooming experience.

Day after day, he listened, observed, practised, and refined his technique. He asked questions. He welcomed feedback. He took pride in every opportunity to improve.

By August 2025, he had earned his promotion to Barber.

Since then, he has continued to build a loyal following of clients who appreciate his patience, precision, and thoughtful approach. Whether it’s a straight razor finish, a classic gentleman’s haircut, a young lad’s first barbershop visit, or working with Caucasian hair, Kothan approaches every service with the same level of care and attention.

What makes him special isn’t just technical skill.

It’s that he genuinely cares.

He remembers preferences. He notices the little details. He takes the time to explain styling techniques and product choices. He wants clients to leave looking better, but also feeling more confident than when they arrived.

In an industry that often celebrates the loudest voices, Kothan’s growth has come from something much quieter.

Before joining us at Marina One, Davin spent years sharpening his craft in some of Singapore’s well known barbershops, including We Need A Hero and Sultans of Shave. Over time, he built a style that feels effortless. Clean fades, classic cuts, detailed beard work. Nothing forced, nothing overdone. Just grooming that feels natural to the person wearing it.

What customers usually notice first is how calm the session feels. No rushing. No trying to push a trend that does not suit you. Davin takes his time understanding how you wear your hair day to day, how it grows, and what actually works for your lifestyle.
