On the flip side, my encounter with Skechers was less favorable. Despite a sign advertising a 40% discount on the second pair of shoes, I was informed at the cashier that the $60 pair was excluded from the promotion. To avail of the discount, I was required to select the $59 option or others. The lack of transparency and inconsistency in applying the discount left me puzzled and dissatisfied, ultimately leading me to walk away empty-handed.

This disparity in promotional strategies highlights the significance of clear and fair marketing practices. While some companies, like "HOPE IN A BOTTLE," prioritize social responsibility and transparent initiatives, others, such as Skechers, risk customer trust by implementing unclear terms and conditions in their promotions.

It's crucial for brands to uphold integrity and consistency in their marketing efforts to foster trust and loyalty among consumers.
