Yesterday humbled all of us in Istanbul
No electricity for 8 good hours!
My dear, when the light went off, everybody suddenly became a motivational speaker đ
Some people were checking Turkish news⊠because normally they always announce it before it happens. Me that doesnât even watch Turkish news, I was just there looking confused like âwho offended NEPAâs international cousin?â
And let me tell some people something todayâŠ
People abroad ALSO take light
Yes oo! Itâs not every time heaven is shining there 24/7.
The difference is just that here, it happens maybe once in a long while⊠maybe once in six months. And if your area is affected, congratulations đ you and darkness will become best friends for the next 8 hours.
Some people were charging power banks like their lives depended on it.
Some were standing near window for fresh air like roasted chicken
If you have generator, na only you and maybe one neighbor fit enjoy am because everywhere was so quiet.
Unlike Africa where generator sound can compete with airport noise
Here, only one mama nearby was using generator. The sound was so loud because every other place was silent
Honestly yesterday taught me patience.
No fan, no charging, no WiFi⊠just me and my thoughts
So next time somebody tells you âabroad people no dey take light,â please laugh small đ
They DO take light⊠just once in a while with announcement and premium packaging Here, only one mama nearby was using generator. The sound was so loud because every other place was silent

This midweek, may every delayed blessing locate you.
May your tears turn into testimonies, your struggles into strength, and your prayers into celebration.
Where others are rejected, may you be accepted.
Where others are confused, may God guide your steps.
May your phone receive good news, your hands never lack, and your heart never lose hope.

Standing on this ancient soil in TĂŒrkiye today during the celebration of Corpus Christi feels deeply spiritual. This land is not just a country filled with history â it is a land that carries the footsteps of the early Church and the memories of the apostles. Many of the events we read about in the Bible happened around these regions. From the journeys of Saint Peter and Saint Paul to the growth of the early Christian faith, this ancient land remains a living reminder of Godâs work through generations.
The place where we gathered today, known as Polonezköy, brought a special reflection to my heart â remembering how Christianity began spreading from places like this through faith, sacrifice, and love for Christ. Though in many African countries Corpus Christi is often celebrated later because of the rainy season, today here in TĂŒrkiye the beauty of the celebration felt timeless and sacred.
Sometimes, when you stand in places connected to biblical history, your faith becomes more alive. You realize that the stories in the Bible are not just words on paper; they happened on real soil, among real people, under the same sky we see today.
Christ is King forever.
Yesterday, today, and for all generations.

Today is Corpus Christi â a beautiful celebration of Christ the King and the Holy Eucharist.
Back home in Africa, this celebration is usually shifted to November because June is our rainy season. But here in TĂŒrkiye, it was celebrated today, and my heart is filled with gratitude to witness such a special moment away from home.
That is why I have been a little quiet today â I spent my time reflecting, praying, and honoring the King of kings. đ
Corpus Christi reminds us that Christ remains present with us always â in every nation, every season, and every moment of our lives.
No matter where we are in the world, Jesus is still Lord. â€ïž
Happy Corpus Christi to everyone celebrating today.
May the body of Christ strengthen our faith, fill our hearts with peace, and guide our steps always.

Good morning, beautiful family
This Saturday, I pray that God fills your heart with peace, your home with joy, and your life with endless favor. May every stress turn into testimony, every delay become a blessing, and every tear be replaced with laughter.
May this weekend bring you good news, open doors, divine protection, and unexpected happiness. No matter what you faced this week, may God renew your strength and guide your steps into greatness. đ
You are blessed.
You are protected.
You are destined to win.
Happy Saturday, my lovely fans

Happy Friday to you. As we step into this beautiful day, I pray that God will go before you and make every crooked path straight. May heaven open doors of blessings, favor, peace, and unexpected joy in your life today. đ
Like a pastor would say in church this morning:
âMay the God who woke you up today strengthen your heart, protect your going out and coming in, and silence every battle you cannot fight alone. May your tears turn into testimonies, your worries into breakthroughs, and your prayers into miracles in Jesusâ name. Amen!â

Today after work, I went to the street market close to my office to buy some items for the house. While walking around the market, I bought three pigeon banks to help me save money for my children. Little by little, savings become something meaningful for the future.
I also saw this manual hand fan that I usually see people using in Nigeria because of the hot weather. Many people use it there, especially when there is no light. When I asked for the price here, it was $2.5. I donât even know how much they sell it for in Nigeria now. I wanted to buy it, but I later changed my mind because electricity here is stable enough.
I also bought tomatoes and some other food items. One thing I noticed here is that anytime the tomatoes start getting soft, they quickly reduce the price drastically. They call that category âawaraâ tomatoes. Instead of wasting them, they sell them cheaper so people can still buy and use them immediately.
That was how my day went today â simple market runs, little observations, and small purchases that still brought smiles and lessons along the way.
