Guide Speaks: A day in Butuan, a lifetime of memories
Just felt so delighted to watch this video clip from by Kyle "Kulas" Jennerman, a Canadian national with a heart for the Philippines especially Mindanao who happened to visit Butuan for a day.
Though Kulas dropped by to a few of Butuan's significant places and historic destinations, the memories he experienced surely will last a lifetime. Thank you, Kyle Jennerman a.k.a Kulas for visiting Butuan again.
Now, am just as excited as him when it comes to experiencing this historic re-emerging city of Butuan again in a few days :) Hope to spend my short vacation with loved ones and friends that are also worth a lifetime to keep...直到那時 zhídào nà shí (till then)...

I knew that Langihan had a market full of treats, and a really colourful Taboan. But I had no clue there was a road of lechon...
Spontaneously driving and exploring Butuan City for a day was awesome, but it got even better when I stumbled upon a whole row of lechon houses! Yes, I had no idea that Butuan was home to some deep rooted and delicious lechons! There is a literally a row of places you can get this Filipino delicacy right along Langihan Road. I ended up in a lechon house called "Bantilan" where I met Nanay and her family who run it.
Turns out they have been cooking lechon for almost 50 years!
It was only 220 pesos for a half kilo (good deal!), they literally were cooking them right there in the house, and it was freaking so fresh and delicious!
Who would have thought Butuan... I had no idea you were such a delicious lechon place!
Do you have a Butuan Lechon Suki!?
Check out Langihan Road on your next trip to the city!
One day at a time, One moment in a lechon house at a time...
Super Apir!
