When I assess a patient, I focus on what is best for that 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙡 patient, not what is better or more convenient for me.

Some of the things I consider when deciding on the type and amount of filler best suited for my patient are:
💉Anatomy
-Naturally thinner lips require less product to achieve the desired effect.
-A subtle fill creates a more balanced profile.
-Correcting minor asymmetry in a specific area rather than a full augmentation.

💉Swelling & Bruising:
-Less product means less swelling, bruising, and a quicker healing process, which may be important to a patient.

💉Safety:
-Some patients may swell and bruise more than others. Opting for a half syringe allows me to fill with smaller amounts over time, reducing the risk to the patient.

💉Touch Ups:
-Using a half syringe on a patient with previous filler allows me to maintain their shape and fullness during touch-ups without risking migration, compression occlusions, and other complications.
