It’s been a little over one year since I launched my own studio! I am so grateful for the love and support from each and every one of you, whether it’s been in my chair, a virtual interaction, or telling a friend. I worked really hard to get to a place where this feels easy, and I am so lucky to have a clientele full of amazing people who trust me.

Haven’t posted my face in a while… Hi 👋🏻

I’m Halie (they/them), I’m a private salon studio owner who specializes in self-affirming haircuts! I approach haircutting like a collaborative art piece between myself, your vision, and what your hair will do in its natural state.

Outside of work I can be found exploring vegan restaurants with my spouse and 4 year old, dancing with my friends, performing burlesque, and pretending I know how to garden.

S already had short hair, but repeatedly got looks that were more solid and square than she had been asking for. I used my razor to carve out bulk where we didn’t want it, and to make the perimeter softer and overall more textured.

The tiny details are especially important in short cuts which is why I like to take my time with them!

A big part of my first appointment with a new client is a thorough consultation, talks of realistic expectations, and a styling lesson on how to make your hair look the way you want it.
