Quarter Reps- Limiting the ROM in your exercises to extend and contract within that muscles "sweet-spot" Good way to maintain tension the muscle and feel burn rapidly.
Try a few exercises in your next workout with quarter-reps, or switch between those and full range repitions.
One more tool in your back pocket.

A simple way to switch up your workout routine: If you normally do cardio then weight training, switch up the order... Hit the weights then the cardio. It's all about fooling your body. Do it!!
