Exciting day at our Center for Human Performance & Kinesiology project. We welcomed Norco College students for an exclusive jobsite visit, where they received an inside look at the project through BIM coordination, experienced virtual model flythroughs, learned about estimating, DSA construction, jobsite safety, and toured the jobsite. Connecting future industry leaders with real-world construction experience, this is what building the future looks like!

This month, we’re proud to highlight Braden Hotra, Senior Project Engineer, an essential member of the CSU San Marcos project team. Braden manages a wide range of responsibilities with positivity and initiative, taking on stretch assignments and even serving as the region’s drone pilot. This is more than a charging stop—it’s a destination. The Costa Mesa facility features 40 DC fast chargers with NACS, CCS, and CHAdeMO connectors, supporting nearly every EV on the road. We transformed a 5,384-SF building into a vibrant amenity hub with a Gelson’s ReCharge market, 24-hour lounge, restrooms, and complimentary Wi-Fi. At ROVE, recharging your car feels just as good as recharging yourself.

Ryan Stichler, Director of Project Development at C.W. Driver and Chairman of the Board for the San Diego North Economic Development Council, joined CSU San Marcos President Ellen Neufeldt at the 13th Annual North County Economic Summit to champion regional growth and innovation.

CSUSM continues to be a driving force in North County’s growth, and C.W. Driver is proud to partner with the University as general contractor for Hunter Hall, the new Integrated Science and Engineering Building currently under construction.

Our San Diego team was all in for this year’s Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Competition! Together with other volunteers, we built 14 playhouses and helped raise over $100,000 to support affordable homeownership across San Diego County. These playhouses, donated to Habitat families, veterans, active-duty personnel, and local kids, ignite creativity and bring joy, all while strengthening our communities. We’re proud to support Habitat’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope!
