I am setting April’s schedule! You can text me at (678) 943-0234 to get on the schedule. Let’s get your horses feeling good!
Each session includes accupressure massage along with work on the myofascial kinetic lines, and myofascia. In your first session we will assess how your horse moves. We go over any concerns you may have and what your goals are. We will then start with an acupressure massage to release tension in the muscles and do myofascia work to release the fibrous tissue. Followed by spots of red light and cold laser treatments. And ending with light stretching. We can also go over any exercises that may help build muscles and help you achieve your goals. I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Many of us know about Myofascia connective tissue but can we talk about my favorite subject?! Equine Myofascial Kinetic Lines! They are fascinating! There are 11 equine myofascial kinetic lines. In this video we are working the Superficial Dorsal Line. In this video I am releasing the tension using vibrations with the technique of a tuning fork. You can see the vibrations moving along the myofascial kinetic line releasing the tension. The tuning fork when used properly not only helps release tension but can also help diagnose tightness and pain.
Are you are ready for the storm? Here are some tips that may help you! Have any good tips? Please share your tips with us in the comments, let’s all weather this storm together.
-Put plastic bags over your gate latches and chains. This will help with freezing rain and ice
-Top off all water troughs
-Detach you hoses from the spigots and drain all the water out of the hoses
-If you don’t have heaters for your water troughs you can pack hay around your troughs to help insulate them.
-Bed down stalls with shavings. I like to put down fine shavings down first to absorb like a kitty litter and top off with larger shavings on top for warmth and comfort.
- Make sure stalls have at least two buckets of water each.
-Give your horses electrolytes to encourage them to drink. My favorite is CEP Gut Check.
-Make sure your horses have unlimited hay. Hay is how they stay warm! It isn’t matter of having enough to eat, think of it is their internal heater. They need to keep their heater on!
