That more women are stepping into military service, resulting in a growing community of women veterans! This means we, as women veterans, bring unique experiences and considerations to the table.
I take pride in being a Black woman who served her country and is now dedicated to serving fellow veterans by teaching the incredible benefits of yoga!
There are organizations out there solely focused on supporting women veterans, understanding and catering to our specific needs, and offering resources for a smooth transition to civilian life.
It’s all about building a community that understands and supports each other. 🌟🇺🇸

The one thing I did to help bring balance to my busy schedule
Prioritize!
⏰ Start by blocking out small windows of time for yoga – it could be as short as 10 minutes!
Know the power of consistency, even if it means sneaking in a quick stretch during lunch or before bed. 🌙
And remember, your yoga mat can be your sanctuary, but so can your work chair and desk! So make it a non-negotiable appointment with yourself.
