A lot of new faces here lately, so let me reintroduce myself.
I’m Keana, founder of Transcend. I help people and organizations strengthen the way they think, lead, communicate, and show up in life.
My background is in psychology, fitness, mindset coaching, and leadership development, but more than anything, I’m passionate about helping people break through the mental barriers that keep them stuck.
I’ve coached everyone from athletes to executives to people simply trying to rebuild confidence in themselves again. And one thing I’ve learned is this:
Your mindset shapes everything.
This page is where you’ll find real conversations about growth, leadership, confidence, mental health, discipline, faith, wellness, and becoming who God called you to be.
Not perfection.
Not pretending.
Just growth, truth, and elevation.
Glad you’re here 🤍
If your feedback isn’t tied to their goal, it’s just your opinion.
People don’t grow from hearing what they did wrong.
They grow when they understand how to do it better in a way that actually aligns with what they’re trying to achieve.
Real feedback sounds like:
“Based on your goal, here’s what would move you forward…”
Not:
“You shouldn’t have done that.”
If you want to lead, coach, or build strong teams
your job isn’t to point out problems
it’s to create clarity and direction.
That’s the difference between criticism and leadership.

Managing tracks tasks.
Leading transforms people.
Management is focused on completion, deadlines, and making sure everything gets done. It’s necessary but it’s not enough.
Leadership goes deeper.
It’s about building people, developing mindset, and creating systems that allow others to operate at a higher level.. even when you’re not in the room.
Managers ask: “Did it get done?”
Leaders ask: “Who are we becoming while we do it?”
If your team only knows how to complete tasks, they’ll always need direction.
If your team understands purpose and operates within strong systems, they become self-sufficient, accountable, and aligned.
That’s the difference.

Celebrating The Sistas was more than an event.. it was a reflection of what happens when Black women are given the space to lead, create, and be fully seen. To witness so many women walking in purpose, building, leading, and pouring into their communities was both grounding and deeply inspiring.
In a world that often overlooks or underestimates the contributions of Black women, spaces like this are essential. Not just for recognition, but for restoration. For connection. For reminding us of the depth, brilliance, and impact that exists within our community.
The Twin Cities showed up in a beautiful way. And moments like this don’t just inspire.. they call you higher.
Honored to be in the room. Even more honored to be a part of the work.

You asked to see the boss, so they sent me.

A company I’m working with completely shifted their culture in less than 30 days.
Not because they hired new people.
Not because they overhauled their systems.
But because their leadership started thinking differently.
Before that, it looked like this:
Low accountability
Tension in communication
Employees showing up disengaged
Managers feeling drained instead of confident
What most companies call a “productivity issue”… is usually deeper than that.
It’s a leadership and mindset gap.
Once we implemented the right tools through 1:1 leadership coaching, everything started to shift.
Attendance improved
Communication got clearer
Ex*****on tightened
And leaders actually started enjoying showing up to work again
This is what we do at Transcend.
And we’re seeing a 90%+ success rate in transforming team culture and performance.
Not because we push people harder.
Because we change how they think, lead, and show up.
