It came to a point in my life that walking was painful. Leaving the house gave me so much anxiety because i didnt want anyone i knew to see how big i had gotten. It was to the point that the only pictures i would post were selfies at certain angles and would overly edit them. I was embarrassed and somewhat shocked at how i got to this place in my life. This was my wake up call. I didnt want this life. I wanted a new one. I wanted to be healthy and be able to do stuff. Its been 2 years since i lost 240 pounds and have been maintaining it. Although maintaining hasn't always been easy. Ive always being mindful about what i am fueling my body with. Kept up with being active daily. Mentally reminding myself that im full of loose skin and its okay. This weightloss journey wasnt easy. There were a lot of issues i had to work on, but i can tell you its been very rewarding. I wake up each day so happy that i can walk, have clothes that fit me, and no longer have the anxiety about full body pictures and so on. Im so grateful for this journey and being able to share all the things ive learned along the way. Remember losing weight is hard but not giving up is harder. You can do it ❀
