For the abused who might literally get beat to death (or turn to su***de) before there is an available home through government assistance

People who are retired but the cost of living has gone up so much they are having to go back to work at age 80

What about the people who are miserable at their job and know they can't pay their bills working elsewhere? Isn't that most of America 😞

The situation really doesn't matter, everyone deserves a roof over their head and a safe space to exist

After re-assuring him several times I was happy to give his haircut to him for free at The Charlie Center..He went through his bags to find something to repay me...

He first tried to give me batteries (these are a commodity. For him to offer is beyond sweet! and no way could I accept) then he insisted I take this candle... he had another one and said we needed this one to keep the mosquitoes away while I cut hair 🥰
