We had our very first international guests at the this month 🇦🇺!! I love how the short distance to goodwill made the review highlight for the thrifters of the group 😂 feeling beyond grateful for their kind words, and that I get to connect with so many cool people through Airbnb. Rearranged a few things at the Airbnb to make the living room a little more interactive and vibey for guests 🎶 now they can put on vinyls while cooking, chatting, or sipping on coffee.
When I first started out as an Airbnb host I made sure to give myself 2 days in between bookings so I could catch up on laundry & not get too stressed out. Nowadays, I’ve been experimenting with same day turnovers, and honestly it’s quite the thrill 😂 I probably need to up our sheets & towel count to 3 sets instead of 2, but I’ll get there eventually!
Grateful for our amazing cleaning crew, and our respectful guests. And yes… I make sure to thoroughly wash my hands after dealing with the laundry. So don’t come at me 😅

We are about to hit the 7 month mark as Airbnb hosts, and it has been SO much fun. I love making guests feel special and seen, and I’m grateful it translates the minute they walk through the door…or in this case the minute I sent our check in instructions 😂
