Lymphatic education AND free feet pics… don’t say I never did anything for you 😂🤭

Sharing this because I tell my patients this ALL THE TIME: long drives, flights, sitting all day (WFH girlies 👀) = your legs NEED support → compression socks 🧦

I won’t tell you to do something I wouldn’t do myself 😗

So yes… compression is ON for this long road trip 🙌🏽

What I’m wearing: .motion Knee-High Compression Socks (8–15 mmHg). This is a good compression grade for someone without any swelling challenges 😉

The best $0 I’ve ever spent 😂

Unpaid and STILL the most reliable employee (well…ONLY employee 😅)

Jokes aside….A LOT of what goes into this business happens behind the scenes, and I’m so grateful for the support of my husband who helps bring it all together 🥰🫶🏽

With that said- I have a new electric table 🙌🏽

I’m grateful to continue upgrading the experience for my clients ✨

This is just a glimpse of who’s been on my table lately 💆🏽‍♀️

Lots of similarities, but also very different.

They can show up in different ways: consistent or inconsistent swelling, heaviness, tightness, pain, cellulite, discomfort…

But one thing is true: your body is communicating something.

Let me say it again…swelling isn’t something you just have to live with. And it’s not as “normal” as it’s often made out to be.

My role as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and Occupational Therapist is to assess what’s actually happening,
understand the why, and support your lymphatic system in doing what it’s supposed to do.

If one of these sounds like you, you’re not alone ✨

Let me know in the comments if you want me to break down any of these conditions 🤓

I’ve technically been back…but I think part of me was still at the beach 😅

Apparently my wall clock was too because a client kindly called me out today for not changing it yet 🤣 Just over here living in the past.

You can’t pour from an empty cup they say. I refilled mine.

But I’m fully present now. Clock adjusted. Back in session and ready for you ✨

Grateful for the pause. Grateful for this work. Grateful to be with you again 🤍

Out of office 🏝️

Just like your lymphatic system, we function best with a balance of movement and rest. Taking a few days to recharge and reset 😌

Back Thursday, March 5th.
All messages will be returned then.
Online booking remains open for next week.

See you soon 🤍✨

I sat down with the Q1 issue of Brighter Magazine reminded me why I said yes to being a community ambassador. This is the kind of education I strive to bring into my own practice every day 🙌🏽🥹

Here are 3 things I loved and fully believe in as a lymphatic therapist:

✨ Exercise snacks — small, consistent bursts of movement throughout the day can be just as powerful as full exercise routines. Gentle, regular movement supports circulation and keeps the lymphatic system flowing.

✨ The importance of oncology-trained providers — treatment can create lasting skin and tissue changes, and specialized care matters. Healthy skin supports healthy lymphatic function and long-term tissue health.

✨ Honoring your “now normal” — healing isn’t linear. Supporting your body where it is, without pushing beyond its capacity, allows your nervous system and lymphatic system to function more effectively. Regulation supports recovery.

Grateful to be part of a space that uplifts and shares information that supports healing and long-term wellness ✨

Healthcare is political. And today, I voted 🗳️

Voting at City Hall on MLK Street felt especially meaningful, especially during the final weekend of Black History Month ✊🏽 It wasn’t until 1965 that many legal barriers preventing Black Americans from fully exercising the right to vote were removed. That reality isn’t distant history. It’s recent. Just 60 years ago.

Also as a healthcare provider, I see every day how policy shapes access to care, insurance, and the outcomes my patients experience. The work I do inside the treatment room is directly connected to decisions made outside of it.

Early voting in Texas runs through February 27, and Election Day is March 3. If you’re able to vote, I encourage you to make it to the polls. Your voice matters 🗣️🙌🏽

A lot of people ask if lymphatic drainage is painful and honestly…a lot of that fear comes from what’s circulating online an on social media. Many of the videos people see are intense body contouring or aesthetic techniques, not therapeutic Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

True MLD is slow, gentle, and intentional. It’s not deep pressure, and it definitely shouldn’t hurt.

Today’s patient came in expecting pain and flinched every time I moved near her swollen legs. With clear communication and gentle touch, her body slowly relaxed and by the end of the session, she fell asleep.

2 lessons here: 1) Not all lymphatic work is the same. 2) When someone feels safe, their body tells you.
