Y'all, I can't.

I panicked for weeks before rolling out my Spell Jar Bar because it is such a labor of love and I KNEW someone who had more money and resources would steal the idea. I kept the idea soooo close to me until it was time and guess what?

I. Called. It.

A local business I've spent far too much money in has someone who enjoys my ideas a little too much. Someone who has works at a store that can just say "I have an idea!” (You had MY idea after I had started doing it. Timelines matter. See you on TikTok. 💜) Someone who's vibes were so off the last time I was there both my friend and I commented on it. I decided not to go back because it now felt icky now for some reason. She went back. You know what they have now?

Yup.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Stuff like this is devastating to someone like me. Not only are they stealing ideas from another small business, they're stealing them from another person who works with energy, and a business run by one, singular, disabled woman. What a despicable thing to do.

Mimicry is the highest form of flattery mediocrity can pay to greatness.

Don't worry, though. You can't keep a witch down and I run off of spite. There's yet an announcement coming soon so when you hear about it again just remember that I'm not the pale imitation. I will always be THAT WITCH. 🔮🧙‍♀️💋

What. A. Weekend! Sometimes you make your money back at shows... sometimes you get rewarded with amazing conversations, meeting new and amazing like-minding souls, and The Universe saying "we got you, baby." My booth neighbors didn't show up and Ceilidh Mo Ghraidh creations and Tara Lee’s Sweet Tees got rearranged next to me. Um, excuse me? Essentially my mentors (shhhh, I love you guys and I wouldn't have gotten through the first market without y'all) and some of the best people I know?! Standing around making nothing but memories was definitely worth it. 💜 Thank you to everyone who came, hung out with me, and added to the vibes!!
