This season of my life feels like choosing myself, honoring myself, and meeting myself more honestly than ever before. Falling in love with who I am, maybe for the first real time. My body, my mind, my drive, my softness, my strength, my hard edges. Loving all of it, while knowing I am still so much more than what can be seen on the surface.

I feel deeply connected to God….Grounded, grateful, emotional…aware.

I’m especially thankful that my work allows me to share that energy with other women every single day. I get to witness transformation, confidence, healing, vulnerability, growth, and beauty in all its forms. I get to pour into women who, in return, pour so much back into me.

As I step into my 20th year in this industry, I’m overwhelmed by where this path has taken me. The people it brought me. The strength it built in me. The life it helped me create.

And it didn’t come easy.
It came from heartbreak, hard decisions, and choosing myself over and over again.

There were moments I didn’t think I could carry all of this…
the pressure, the responsibility, the weight of it all.

But I kept showing up.

I didn’t build this perfectly.
I built it while healing.

Can we talk about the noise?

Not just marketing.

The noise of other people.

The noise of:
“You should be doing it this way.”
“That’s not how I was taught.”
“That’s outdated.”
“I would NEVER do it like that.”

The noise of reading one Facebook post in a professional group…
and suddenly feeling like you have no idea what you’re doing.

You ask one question.

Eight people answer.

All eight answers are different.

Now your nervous system is activated and you’re wondering if you’ve been doing everything wrong.

Here’s the truth:

I’m not saying all eight ways are wrong.

I’m also not saying all eight ways are right.

What I am saying is — you have to develop discernment.

Discernment is the ability to:
• Listen without absorbing everything
• Consider information without spiraling
• Recognize expertise vs. opinion
• Filter ego from evidence

Just because someone says something confidently does not mean it is correct.

Just because someone criticizes your approach does not mean you are incompetent.

Just because there are multiple ways to approach something does not mean you are lost.

It means you’re in a field where nuance exists.

In aesthetics, in business, in life — there is rarely one rigid right way.

There are principles.
There are fundamentals.
There are safety boundaries.

But within those?
There is room for experience, refinement, and style.

If what you’re doing is producing safe, consistent, ethical results — you are not behind.

If you want to improve, improve.

But don’t let the volume of other people’s opinions drown out your own growing expertise.

The loudest voice in the room is not always the wisest.

Develop discernment.

That’s what separates professionals from reactors.

For a long time, I confused peace with silence.

I thought leadership meant over accommodating.
I thought love meant enduring.
I thought strength meant tolerating things that hurt me.

I didn’t want confrontation.
So I over explained.
I softened my standards.
I let things slide that didn’t align.

In business.
In family.
In relationships.

And slowly, without realizing it, I was abandoning myself.

The shift didn’t happen because I got louder.
It happened because I got clearer.

Clear about the vision.
Clear about the boundaries.
Clear about what I will and will not tolerate.

When you stop betraying yourself, something powerful happens.

You don’t have to control anyone.
You don’t have to argue.
You don’t have to convince.

You just stand differently.

And people can feel it.

Some relationships rise to meet you.
Some fall away.
Both are necessary.

There is a different kind of peace that comes from alignment.
It’s not the peace of avoiding drama.
It’s the peace of no longer participating in it.

If you’ve been feeling that shift inside you, trust it.

You’re not becoming difficult.
