The magic ingredient in most spray tans is DHA (Dihydroxyacetone). DHA is a colorless sugar that reacts with the amino acids found in the outermost layer of your skin. Over the next several hours, this reaction creates those beautiful golden-to-deep bronze tones that make everyone ask where you went on vacation.
