When I first moved in my apt I bought a cheap shower curtain just so I can take a shower without the water getting on the floor. It was only temporary anyway so it really didn’t matter. But as time went, it was still serving its purpose so buying another one didn’t even cross my mind no more. As time went on I started to notice a small hole by one of the hooks. It was still closing properly so the little hole didn’t matter. Next thing I know as time passes it’s a bigger hole, but the curtain is still doing what it needs to do so why even bother. Today I go to close it and ripped the whole shower curtain. Im looking at it mad like dang I gotta get one now. But then I realize it was supposed to only be TEMPORARY in the first place. Then God begin to show me how some stuff in our lives was only supposed to be TEMPORARY, but because it felt good or served it’s purpose we hold on to it trying to make it PERMANENT when it wasn’t design for that. Then we wonder why we’re stressed, can’t eat, can’t sleep, cause you filled a PERMANENT situation with something that’s not designed to withstand the pressure. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
