Life & Beauty with Megan

I have some exciting news to share with you a little later today but first, I want to introduce you to someone 💜

My Grandma, Dolores was the kind of woman that you could sit in a room with and feel at ease with yourself. There was no need to struggle or strive to be anything, she saw you and loved you just as you were. She was lovely in her speech, in her movement, in the way that she looked at you. She invited you in and made you feel welcomed. I never felt an ounce of judgement. She had a laugh that filled the room, it was difficult not to laugh when she was laughing. Her joy came from Jesus. It was not earthly, and you could feel the difference. She hurt when other people hurt and felt joy when they felt joy. She had a genuine servants heart. She was nurturing and kind in a way that made you feel special and seen. She whistled and sang through her work. She was elegant and timeless and selfless. She had no idea how admired she was, the humblest spirit. Her life had seen more than its fair share of challenges, but the legacy that she left behind, the way that she is remembered and held close by her family, would be more than she ever hoped for.

Today would have been her 89th birthday and I’ll celebrate her and reach for being like her forever and ever! Stay tuned 🤭💜

I don’t know what the future holds but I DO know that He works all things together for the good of those who love him. I know that His promises don’t fail. I know I’m in the palm of His hand...and you are too ❤️

Hey y'all! I'm so grateful that you're here. As for me? I am for all thing’s life giving and beauty enhancing. I have been on a journey over the past year of discovering the power that comes from digging deep. I have not “arrived” (and I don’t know that we ever do) but I’ve grown and discovered life and beauty on a new level. I want to grab other women by the hand and pull them up too. Our struggles and our desires are so universal- there is so much power in a “me too” moment- to know you’re not the only one. I'm here to create a space where it’s common to uplift, empower and validate each other. I’m also here to share some of the things that have added to my self-care in a big way. Sometimes self-care means walking away from situations that aren’t serving you well but girlfriend- a quality skin care routine makes me feel good!!! At the end of the day, the way YOU feel about you is all that really matters. I hope to help you send little messages to yourself throughout the day that say, “you’re totally worth it!” We’ll talk about how to get great lashes in 20 seconds, share our struggles as wives/mamas/women, figure out how to go one more day without washing our hair and love the mess out of each other! I’m so excited to build this community with you
