this one lowkey makes me wanna cry - i have always wanted to do my best friend Taylor’s hair, mostly bc she had the most BEAUTIFUL natural hair color, and actually mostly bc nothing is better than hair salon yap with your bff :)

ANYWAYS Tay hadn’t had a touch up since the fall from wanting to grow out her natural and stop doing as much bright blonde / more maintenance. Literally this is my favorite service no one can tell me other wise.

Hit her with a pop of blonde in the front to frame the face (no dramatic $ piece), blend in her root naturally by doing high & low lights up to the part, the blend her all together with a very faint root melt to make her natural root blend in with the hl/ll throughout the head. And just for some added blend and contrast.

That’s a lot to read so if you made it through that know that i LOVE the results, and you can have a beautiful blonde bright OR lived in :)

My sweet new client wanted a complete revamp of her hair. This was a labor of love but the most beautiful results made it so worth it. Amber has the thickest most beautiful hair, but was feeling blah, brassy, and a solid color that she didn’t love. She wanted to have her natural color worked more throughout as well as brighter blonde highlights. So we went to WERK!!!!

We did a full head of lowlights that matched her natural color, tons of teasy lights, tipped out her ends, and a beautiful root melt. Toned down the rest of the hair left out of foils for a more cool toned look and BAM!!! Lots of k18, detangling, and a few inches gone and my girl has a new head of hair that will grow out seamlessly!! She’s a mom of three and needed something that she can go a long time between appointments, and I think we nailed it!

Can i get a hell yeah for this transformation?!

The way that this color correction gave me LIFEEEEE (i love a color correction challenge)

Erin messaged me in sheer panic as her lived in blonde request turned into an unexpected orange moment. Which is not the moment. We were able to get her in and get her righhhhttttt! She drove from Raleigh to CLT and we got to werk.

I did baby lights on the hairline, on the part, as well as the sides of the head to break up the orange streaks. Lowlights all over the head to blend all the blonde and tone it down a bit. We did a root melt to match her natural and give her a more blended grow out look. Her goal was something lived in and toned down from her usual bright highlight, so we toned her down and toned the orange to a natural color. All of this plus a beautiful amount of and Erin’s hair is effortlessly blonde and she will be able to get it done only 2x in a year with this blend. :)

I filmed this whole process and a video will come bc color correction videos are the way to my heart! 🤍

PS - this is no hate to any stylist. Things happen!! I am just honored to be the one that was able to fix it. :)

from the past few appointments wanting to embrace her natural with a subtle highlight, this time we took Hannah back to a natural, blendy, creamy blonde. A cutie chop makes the color POP! Soooo obsessed w the results :)
