Since celebrating two years of Esthetics By Selah this past week, I've found myself reflecting a lot.

Not just on where the business is today, but on where it started.

Two years ago, I stepped out on my own with excitement, plenty of uncertainty, and a whole lot of prayers.

There have been moments of growth, moments of stretching, moments where everything seemed to fall into place, and moments where I had to trust God even when I couldn't see what He was doing behind the scenes.

Looking back, one of the biggest lessons I've learned is that God rarely gives us the entire picture at once. He simply asks us to be faithful with the next step.

This business has introduced me to people I never would have met, opportunities I never could have planned, and lessons I wouldn't trade for anything.

I'm incredibly grateful for every client who has trusted me, supported me, encouraged me, and allowed me to be a small part of their story.

Two years later, and God is still writing mine!

And I can't wait to see what He has in store next 🤍

June is Acne Awareness Month 🤍

And acne is rarely solved by throwing random products at your skin and hoping something works.

Clearer skin usually comes from understanding what your skin needs, calming inflammation, protecting your barrier, and being consistent with the right routine.

These are a few of the simple things I often recommend to help support acne-prone skin, but every person’s skin story is different. What works for one person may not be the answer for someone else.

That is why I focus on creating treatment plans that are intentional, personalized, and rooted in long-term skin health rather than quick fixes.

🎉 Happy 2nd Birthday to Esthetics by Selah! 🎉

Two years ago, I took a leap of faith and stepped out on my own. I had nothing figured out and barely a plan in place. None of it was easy, but I felt called to build something of my own. What started as just a storage room turned into a blessing I never could have imagined. God took all of my worries and made them into something beautiful.

Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of serving incredible clients who have become more like family, continuing my education, growing into the confident woman God has called me to be, and creating a space that feels peaceful, welcoming, and full of God’s grace. There have been moments that stretched me, challenged me, and pushed me out of my comfort zone. There have been long nights, big decisions, lessons learned, and plenty of prayers along the way. But there have also been countless reminders of God’s faithfulness and His plan for my life. ✝️

One of the greatest gifts has been the people — the clients who have trusted me with their skin and allowed me to be a part of their lives beyond skincare. You all have helped make Esthetics by Selah what it is today.

My family has also been so important in this chapter of my life. I couldn’t have asked for more love and support from them throughout these past two years. I never could have imagined what these years would hold, and while I’m grateful for everything behind me, I’m even more excited about the future of Esthetics by Selah.
