I pray that you are all doing well and staying busy as you "Stay at Home" these days. I've learned a few things about the 5 people who live at my house over the last week that I've worked from home. I'm sure you have all learned a few things too ;) The biggest observation I've had is the importance of having a routine. We are sort of forced to have a routine when we have to get up and go to work, get children off to school, let the dog out, etc. We all found ourselves in a state where we were forced to have our routine upset almost over night. We were suddenly worried about finding toilet paper, and some people were forced to suddenly learn to cook (or so I've read...) Some of us have been spoiled a little by a family member who suddenly has time to cook 2-3 meals a day ;) I want to share a verse with you - II Cor. 9:6 "The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully." I want to encourage you all to sow diligently over this time of physically distancing ourselves and staying at home. I encourage you to invest time into those in your household. I encourage you to reach out to those outside your household by phone, text, or video conference. Go outside and enjoy the sounds of nature. Listen to the music the birds and animals make - It's beautiful.
