I know I’ve been quiet for the last 12 weeks, but my recovery from shoulder surgery is going well! Today marks 12 weeks post op and I am relieved of my 3 lb weight restriction 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I am so excited to be back in the office stirring up some new bars (and restocking some favorites). Stay tuned in about 4 weeks for some updated inventory!!
I do have some things in stock still if you’re wanting a bar to hold you over, and I’ll probably make some M&P bars which will be ready immediately. Lastly, check out .petals.press for her pop up locations to grab some soap from her (and some awesome books too!). Peep the ADORABLE sign my bestie made for the trailer!! When I find out what happened to her insta page I’ll tag it lol!
Let the soap making videos commence!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Hey all!! A quick update over here. Many of you might know but I had shoulder surgery back in early December so I’ve been in a sling and limited to one arm (not my dominate one either!) I’ve got 2 more weeks and then I can get back to making soap.
In the meantime, don’t forget to check out what we’ve got in stock!! These beauties are our newest soaps from before my surgery and available on the site now, for pick up or shipping right away!
Watermelon Sugar is our first soap to add all-natural, pure beef tallow which is supposed to be really great for our skin. Each of these new bars also contains goats milk, along with the usual oils and butters for a rich lather.
You can find them on our website at www.greyrocksoap.com

Merry Christmas friends!! I hope you’re having a fabulous holiday 🎄🎅🏻🎁
🍉 Watermelon Sugar - take 2! 🍉
When I first used this scent a few months ago, I got a false trace and had to scrap the whole batch (meaning it didn’t saponify and turn into soap 😭). Ive been dying to remake this and I finally did! Even if I did have to un-mold and re-mold because I forgot the fragrance 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣 but it still came out so good!!
I added beef tallow and goats milk to this one, and I think it’s one of my top favorite bars!! It smells incredible and it feels so creamy, I bet once I do a lather test it’ll be so smooth and bubbly. The “watermelon” (poppy) seeds will provide a gentle exfoliation too!

While my newest cold process soaps are curing and I’m impatiently waiting to cut them… I did a restock of my husbands favorite soap. Which oddly enough, is a melt and pour 🤣 I can make this as a cold process but he loves this bar exactly as I made it the first time, so I won’t change it!
I do use high quality soap base when I make melt and pour, so while it isn’t from scratch, I’m still handcrafting it myself with love 😘
Made with an activated charcoal layer and aloe Vera on top, this bar is scented with teakwood which gives a rich, earthy wood type of scent with notes of spice, leather and musk.
🧼 Available now in my shop for local pickup or shipping.

I have been MIA for a few weeks, swamped with traveling and life in general but I’m back and working on all the Christmas and winter scents, so stay tuned!! For now I’ve got this gorgeous fall soap that will be on the website and available for pick up or shipping, tomorrow!
Look at this color change though!!!!! It’s WILD, but I’m not mad at it 🤣🤣 Honestly, my vision was more like this deep, fall color so when I initially cut the soap and it was bright - I had to be ok with it, but I LOVE the deeper colors.
These are made with olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, avocado oil and castor oil. The leaf embed is made of melt and pour goats milk base. The scent is absolutely heavenly with red apple, apple bourbon and cinnamon & sugar, literally what I would imagine fall to smell like if you could bottle it up.

I shall call it “Monster Mash” 🤣
I had to rebatch 2 batches of soap that didn’t saponify properly (womp womp) one was a Frankenstein type of design and the other was pumpkin pie. Don’t worry I’m redoing the monster design!! It was so cute!!
I was trying to do 3 designs with one large batch, so I was nervous about the soap batter getting too thick but in turn, I didn’t mix it enough so the lye and oils didn’t combine properly.
When we have to rebatch, we chop up the soap into tiny pieces and pop them into the crock pot to hot process. That did the trick because these feel so much better! I like the look of the little soap pieces that did saponify properly the first time, it’s almost like confetti! The scent is apple bourbon with a hint of pumpkin pie. 🥧 🍎
Since they were hot processed, they’ll be ready in about 2 weeks instead of the 4-6 cold process takes to cure.
