and his band for a week-long recording session in November. Look for a fun record in 2025 - and maybe a local release party!

I was a professor, in Sound, at the School of the Art Institute (Chicago) for nearly two decades. I retired from teaching 2019, to focus completely on Delmark Records. One of the classes I taught, and developed, was "History of Recorded Music". Here are the two books I used as primary texts for that class:

The studio piano in Delmark Riverside is a jewel, heard on many recordings. This Steinway model B from 1917 came from Paul Serrano and PS Recording, and is featured on the upcoming all-analog, direct to tape, solo piano record by Johnny Iguana, slated for Spring 2024.
