When I get bored, I don’t scroll… I create.
One late night, a little TikTok inspiration, some Amazon frames, and bright paint later and suddenly my space felt louder, bolder, and more me.

😭👀 My client sat in my chair and BABY… the smell didn’t just hit me—it introduced itself like, ‘Hey Jaye, I’m her PLUS ONE.’ Soon as her cheeks touched that seat the air COLLAPSED. I started looking around like—did somebody microwave a shoe?? 💀😂
The funk was so strong I thought my flat iron was burning through the floor. I blinked and the odor blinked back. I’m in there styling for dear life, holding my breath, doing mental CPR on myself.
The way that smell jumped out was DISRESPECTFUL—it didn’t creep, it leaped. It came in confident like, ‘Go ahead and part that hair… I’ll be right here.’ 😭😭
Y’all, that scent had a job, a car note, and a 720 credit score. It was a full grown ADULT in my salon.”**

I grip it tight.
