When you first started your soap-making journey, which method did you choose and why?

🫧 Melt & Pour

What made you choose that method? Was it easier to learn? Less intimidating? More creative? Better for your business goals?

As for me, my soap-making journey began with Cold Process Soap. 🧼💖

At the time, I was a little intimidated by the Hot Process method, and since Melt & Pour already contains oils and butters, I was worried I might accidentally throw the recipe off by adding too much to it. So, Cold Process felt like the best fit for me.

But my soap-making journey wasn’t just about making soap—it was personal. 💕

I was desperately searching for a natural solution to help my children’s eczema. After countless products, doctor visits, and disappointments, I decided to learn how to create my own skincare products using nourishing oils, butters, and skin-loving ingredients.

What started as a mother’s mission to help her children eventually blossomed into Princess Niya’s Boutique. 👑🦋

Looking back, I never imagined that one decision would lead me down a path of entrepreneurship, creativity, healing, and purpose. It truly changed my life.

That’s why I love hearing how other soap makers got started—because every soap-making journey has a story behind it. Whether you started out of curiosity, necessity, creativity, or a dream of owning your own business, your story matters. 💖
