Meatloaf
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup ketchup, divided
1 1/2 pounds ground beef, extra lean (raw)
1 cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 large eggs
Cooking spray

Mashed Potatoes
4 cups cubed peeled Yukon gold potato (about 2 pounds)
1/4 cup 2% reduced-fat milk
1/4 cup low-fat sour cream
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Garnish
3 tablespoons chopped chives
4 pieces of bacon cooked and them chopped

Kiwi Juice

8 kiwi fruits
3 green apples (we used granny smith)
1/3 cucumber (about 4 inches)
1 piece of fresh ginger
fresh mint leaves

Mix all the ingredients in a juice machine. Serve immediately with lots of ice.

The natural healing properties of fruits and vegetables continue on into fall and winter, and there’s no better time to take advantage of all the benefits of pumpkin for your skin. Pumpkin is a rich source of nutrients and antioxidants that can help your skin and hair achieve a healthy glow throughout the season! Here are some DIY pumpkin recipes for Face, Hair & Body

FOR OILY SKIN:

¼ cup of fresh pumpkin meat

1 teaspoon pumpkin seed oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 egg yolk

Directions: Combine all the ingredients and blend together in a food processor. Spread mixture all over face and leave for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

FOR DRY SKIN:

¼ cup of fresh pumpkin meant

1 teaspoon pumpkin seed oil

Splash of milk (or whipping cream if your skin is REALLY dry)

Directions: Combine all the ingredients and blend together in a food processor. Apply the mixture to your face and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse off with water.

UNSCENTED SCRUB:

½ cup pureed pumpkin

3 tablespoons organic sugar

½ teaspoon pumpkin seed oil

Directions: Combine the ingredients in a small bowl and mix them together to make a thick paste. Massage quarter-sized amount into your face/body in circular motions. Rinse off after a few minutes with lukewarm water.

FRAGRANT SCRUB:

½ cup cooked or canned pumpkin, pureed

½ cup brown sugar

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions: Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix them together to make a thick paste. Massage quarter-sized amount into your face/body in circular motions. Rinse off after a few minutes with lukewarm water.

HAIR MASK:

1/2 cup of chilled pureed or whipped raw pumpkin
1 egg
1/3 cup of chilled organic unsweetened coconut milk
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup chilled apple cider vinegar (optional)

Directions: Combine the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Apply the mask through your entire head of hair (from root to tip). Once your hair is full saturated, put on a shower cap and leave on for about 30 minutes. Rinse off well with lukewarm water. Style as usual.

Pumpkin is an excellent conditioner for dry hair. This recipe promises to make your hair shiny and soft.
