I’m so passionate about teaching medical students the importance of empathy and compassion in OB/GYN. As a doctor, it’s not just about the science, it’s about treating the whole person with kindness, understanding, and respect. I pray that my students take these essential skills back to the field of medicine, and that they never lose sight of the humanity that makes our profession so rewarding. Let’s bring back the heart of medicine!

Two years ago (August 18,2023) I was at a critical turning point in my health. I was hospitalized for a week with a blood pressure of 200/110, weighing 209 pounds, and diagnosed with Raynaud’s syndrome and new onset migraines. This wasn’t my first rodeo with weight struggles - I’ve battled obesity before, and it was a harsh reminder that health is a lifelong journey.The road ahead seemed uncertain, but I knew I had to take control of my health.

Fast forward to today... My doctor’s visit was a testament to the power of faith, hard work, and determination! My blood pressure is now a healthy 117/70, and I’ve lost an incredible 61 pounds, weighing in at 148 pounds!

While I’m beyond excited to announce that I’ll be competing as a natural wellness competitor in the OCB Federation Competition on 11/22/2025, the real victory isn’t about the medals, trophies, or recognition. It’s about the journey. It’s about becoming the best version of myself and living a life that honors God🙏🏾

I’m so grateful for this journey and for the love and support of my family and friends. Your encouragement, prayers, and cheers have meant the world to me!

To anyone struggling with their own health journey, I want you to know that you are not alone. There is hope, and there is help. Don’t give up, even when the road ahead seems uncertain. Keep pushing forward, and know that every step you take towards healing and wellness is a victory in itself.
