Soft glam isn’t about using more makeup-it’s about using the right structure.

Every flawless face starts with intention, not more products.

This is the exact technique behind my signature
Structured Soft Glamā„¢ course that creates soft, polished makeup that looks beautiful in person and on camera.

The glow-up wasn’t buying more makeup.

It was simplifying my process.

The biggest mistake artists make is thinking the answer is another foundation, another palette, another brush.

The answer is understanding structure.

That’s exactly what I teach inside Structured Soft Glamā„¢.

One thing I’ve learned as an artist is that sometimes the makeup isn’t the problem… the lighting is. ✨

This client looked absolutely stunning in person, but the camera picked up more shadow underneath the lashes than what was visible to the eye.

A simple reflector can help bounce light back into the face and minimize that effect during bridal mornings, events, and content shoots.

We learn, we adjust, and we elevate. šŸ¤

Fellow artists, have you experienced this before?

Special thanks to my makeup sis for helping me understand this! I love my makeup community 🄹

Last weekend I attended the Elevate & Create Retreat hosted by Michelle Thames.

As entrepreneurs, it’s easy to think the answer is always another post, another reel, another strategy.

But sometimes the breakthrough comes from slowing down long enough to hear yourself think.

This retreat reminded me of the vision I’ve been building toward:
✨ Growing Soft Shadows by Shika
✨ Becoming more visible
✨ Leading with confidence
✨ Creating impact through beauty and education

One of the biggest surprises was receiving the Visibility In Motion Award.

For someone who has spent years working through fears of being seen, that moment meant more than words can express.

Thank you Michelle for creating a space where women could connect, grow, and dream bigger.

The next level really does live in the rooms you’re willing to enter. šŸ’œ

A reminder to keep going even when you can’t see the full picture.

There were moments I questioned if this class would happen, if anyone would come, if I was ready.

But faith looks like continuing to prepare even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed.

Yesterday was proof that sometimes your job isn’t to know how it’s going to happen… it’s simply to keep showing up. šŸ¤

So proud of myself. 🄹✨
