What if adults got to go to summer camp too? 🏕️ Turns out... we do, and we can have just as much fun as our kids.
I just returned from 4 days on Vancouver Island with some incredible women- hiking trails, sharing stories, laughing, and learning things about my body, hormones, and what I’m actually capable of that I didn’t expect to discover in my 50s.

Thank you to our amazing coaches and leaders ( and ) for creating the REbuild Retreat, which checked every box for me:

🌲 Hours in nature, on the trail, fully present 📵 Off my phone. Off social media.
🏔️ Pushed outside my comfort zone -physically and mentally
🤝 Connected with women from various ages and cities who just get it
🧠 Expanded my mind around nutrition, endurance, hormones & this season of life 💛 Built something rare - real community

My kids come home from summer camp (aka their happy place) as different versions of themselves. I finally understand that feeling at a soul level. This wasn’t just good for my body and my mind. It cracked something open.

Midlife doesn’t have to feel like a slow down. These women, these trails, these leaders reminded me it can feel like a coming home to myself. 🙏✨

💬 Tell me in the comments- what’s one experience that’s been on your heart that you’ve been putting off for yourself? Maybe it’s time. 👇

It’s been two weeks since I completed , my very first endurance event at the age of 50 & I am still riding the high from this amazing experience. As I continue to reflect on this journey, I wanted to share my insights from the mountain as a way to inspire you to get outside of your comfort zone, scare your soul and be the best version of you right now!

So what did this event in Mont-Tremblant entail? I hiked 15 accents up the mountain, which amounted to 25.5 miles and 29,029 vertical feet, the equivalent of hiking Mount Everest, in less than 33 hours.

So why did I sign up for this crazy endurance event?  My inner athlete was telling me to do it.  Going back decades I’ve had a calling to become an athlete, an inner knowing that I could achieve more than what I demonstrating. However, until now, athlete was not a word I used to describe myself.  Growing up I received messages, from a variety of adults including coaches/ gym teachers that I was not an athlete & not good enough for the team.  While I’m sure these adults didn’t intend for their words to go deep into my soul, they did have a profound impact on my self-worth until now.

When I’ve talked with adults who share their athletic accomplishments with me, I have always felt a pang of jealousy & feeling that I am “less than”. What I’ve come to realize is that my emotional reaction & admiration for others with athletic accomplishments was simply showing me, my own, untapped potential. All I needed was to find a sport I enjoyed & shift my mindset to make it happen.

I did this event for myself first & also to show my kids & others that you can accomplish your innermost desires with hard work, determination, positive mindset & grit at any age.

I honestly loved every minute of this journey. Yes, there were some accents where my body was sore, I was feeling nauseous & my digestion was definitely off but I persevered.

I could not have accomplished this feat without my amazing co-host & the support from many people including the fabulous coaches.

Drop me a note with what you are committing to do to scare your soul & get outside your comfort zone. 👇🏻
