This has become one of the most top debates and conversations that I have witnessed in this industry.
1. Why are deposits required?
2. Why do people charge deposits, we never had to do this back in the day?
3. What if I do send a deposit and the stylist cancels on me then what?
4. I’m not sending a deposit it’s not safe to me
5. I can pay my deposit in person
6. It’s a scam (but did you do your research)?
7. Is the deposit included in the FULL PRICE?
Rather you are a hairstylist, barber, nail tech, lash tech, esthetician or any type of service provide that requires a deposit. This message is for YOU.. we are NO longer allowing people to waste our time “NO DEPOSIT, NO APPOINTMENT”! speaks so much volume and if you were in our shoes you would want the same respect. We are in a new generation and everything is evolving. We are no longer tolerating the “I don’t feel comfortable sending you a deposit for the first time” well you researched me, you notice the consistency in my work and you chose me as your stylist so why can’t you trust me to secure your seat?
I have sympathize with SO many people who have actually gotten SCAMMED before and it’s simply because some people DO NOT READ, RESEARCH or LOOK AT TAGGED PHOTOS.
